Charcoal Filter absorbs toxic gas, organic hydrocarbons, exhaust fumes, formaldehyde, cleaning chemicals, low level ozone, unpleasant odors and paint solvents. This is a primary component of the filtration system to remove Volatile Organic Compounds.

Photo-Catalytic Oxidation (PCO) is the most advanced technology in air purification. The purifiers draw air into the photo-catalytic chamber to be purified. The photo-catalytic chamber consists of a high intensity UV-C ultraviolet bulb (254 nm) and a proprietary Titanium-Dioxide Catalyst. When exposed to ultraviolet light, the photo-catalyst becomes highly reactive and attacks the chemical bonds of the bio-aerosol pollutants, converting the toxic compounds into benign constituents, carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O).
